The FBI reported that in 2015 there were over 6,800 offenses as a result of bias toward a particular race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity/national origin, gender identity, and physical or mental disability. Of those crimes, 5,818 criminal incidents were brought to trial. That's a lot of hate!
If you are like me, and can imagine a world without prejudice and stereotypes, and where we are all treated equally, then please join me and, together, we can begin to change the world. We can make a difference! Let's stand up, speak out and take actions! This is my dream and I invite you to share it with me. AJ Palmar, Founder |

Headline: "Taking Actions Day" - October 20, 2018

We just celebrated our 8th year anniversary! "Taking Actions Day" is observed on the 3rd Saturday of each October. The concept is to help others, and encourage them to pay it forward and pass the kindness along to someone else. Our fifth annual "Taking Actions Day" was on October 20, 2018. On that day, we did 38 acts of kindness to about 430 people, from 10:16 am to 10:16 pm ET, in the Washington, DC area. The celebration was extended to the whole month of October 2018, with our annual 31-Day Kindness Fundraising; we encouraged our supporters to join us by doing something nice for someone else, and 16 participants shared 202 good deeds. For every act of kindness posted on social media (using hashtag: #TakingActionsDay), we added money to the fundraising and then donated the funds to 2 different non-profit organizations out of the 25 nominations we received. Are you ready for Taking Actions Day 2019? – AJ
Headline: "Across the USA"

After 14 months of planning, I accomplished my most ambitious project yet. I took Taking Actions across the nation in May 2013. In 14 days, we visited 30 cities in 14 states (DC, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, TX, NM, AZ, NV, and CA). Through our actions, we encouraged people to take care of the environment, stand up for human rights, as well as eliminate prejudice, hate and violence. We met awesome people and organizations. This was an unforgettable trip, a dream come true. I am very grateful for the opportunity to make new friends during this journey. Thank you all who were part of this trip, especially those who made donations and gave us places to stay. I love you all! – AJ
