"Love Action" in Times Square, New York City
During my participation with the Occupy Movement, I decided to go New York City and spent time with the occupiers from Wall Street. Since I was going to the capital of the world, I thought it would be a good idea to do an action in Times Square which is one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections. My good friend Alma helped make some posters to promote the campaign. The day before the trip, I invited my friend Belle to come with me, and she immediately accepted.
We visited Occupy Wall St. on 10/22/11, and did the “Love Action” on 10/23/11. We had a great time giving free hugs and interacting with dozens of people from different backgrounds. I posted the video below on our Facebook Page on October 28, 2011, and we had a great response from our supporters, and many of them asked us to do the action in their cities.
