"Love Action" in Washington, D.C.
My good friend and comrade, Hale, has supported this campaign since we first met in October 2016. She was part of Taking Actions Day 2016, joined me in at least 6 marches/protests following Donald Trump becoming President in January 2017, and helped us with the DC Love March.
As Hale was getting ready to go back to her home country, Switzerland, I decided to do a last-minute, organic "Love Action" on 3/19/17, around the Tidal Basin in Washington D.C, surrounding by cherry blossom trees, which -due to the cold weather- had not bloomed yet. Hale brought her friend, Jeniffer, with her; together we gave "free hugs" and "high-fives," interacting with about 400 people, in about an hour and half. We had a great time!
